Woods We Use

Oak

High density hardwood, that has very attractive grain markings, and is very sturdy.

Pine Wood

Most of our pine furniture is Radiata Pine. It is a medium-density softwood. It is nearly free of knots, holes, or other blemishes. It is harder than other pine wood and plantation grown.

Paulonia Wood

Hardwood grown in China. It can resemble Mahogany or Walnut. It is lightweight.

Parawood

From the Rubber tree, and plantation grown. When the Para rubber trees quit producing latex to make rubber, they are cut down to make furniture. This is an inexpensive hardwood that is very environmentaly friendly.

Maple

Maple is available by special order. There are many species of maple trees. Maple is a hardwood with an attractive grain.

Regardless of the wood that you choose, it can be stained or painted any color.
